They did say that the iOS 6 requests were coming from Apple-owned IP addresses.
The screen resolution was not tied to the IP addresses because it showed up in Google Analytics.

- underwater 15y agoIf this is a prank it's not a very good one: 1. If there is a retina-display iPad 3 then they're faking something that actually exists. 2. If there isn't then they're setting up the unreleased product to not meet expectations.
