One major reason I stopped watching movies in theaters is because of the lack of subtitles. It's very hard to hear voices and actors/actresses often do prioritize enunciation. Even when they do, they often use words/names that I do not come across often. Everything adds up to making movies hard to follow in theaters.
- activiation 3y agoI'm surprised most theaters haven't gone bankrupt by now (not because of subtitles)
- senttoschool 3y agoIt's still a decent option for dating and an outing with friends/family. Personally, none of the cookie cutter Hollywood movies interest me anymore. It's expensive. People use their phones. People talk. People eat very loud. No subtitles. It's honestly a miserable experience.
