  That probably speaks more to the quality of our homework assignments than the quality of the student. In this day and age, why is our education still based on rote regurgitation?

  There was a fun example from a history lecturer a while back. Did you know that the Romans developed special anti-elephant crossbows to fight Hannibal? Because ChatGPT knows that. I think people who rely on this sort of thing for essay writing may be in for a rude awakening, especially when they have to write a thesis.
