The same logic could easily apply to every other manufacturing heavy country (Japan, India, etc). There are just as many unethical companies operating in the country (Dupont/Monsato/3M) hit by massive lawsuits. And trying to influence domestic issues in other countries has led to the numerous wars the US have started in modern times, not to mention the annexation of Hawaii because of blatant business interests. the world is tired of the US finding applying double standards to whoever they want to make their enemy.
