I don't know the term but you can also basically varyingly-indirectly pay to get in to most Ivys & other schools. I wonder what those admissions numbers look like. I don't have a ton of info, but I've been at two different parties with people for whom this was semi-directly their job, to help facilitate extremly wealthy foreign students buying their way into top tier American schools.
