- throwaway290 3y agoI find it curious how Western left (which I generally sympathize with) defends women's rights but draws the line if they are Muslim. Then you're on your own, it's totally OK for your husband or 'male guardian' (and I kid you not it's a thing, that guy also must authorize a woman to get a job for example) to make you hide your face in public and look at all the world outside your apartment through a rag, and any government that tries to combat that is 'intolerant'.
