That sounds pretty exciting. Combined with programming skills, one could craft a whole array of tools for "superpowers." I get the impression PMs have to make due with influence instead of authority, but as a dev I really appreciate how they are able to--nee must--distill back-to-back business meetings into actionable requirements and stories. And, on top of that, to be "the voice of the customer" if there is not a Product Manager, under existing deadlines, sounds pretty daunting.
