It's not a problem, if your goal is to design a new MANPADS. If your goal is to build new Stingers, that are compatible with a bunch of other systems, and perform to specifications XYZ, then it's more challenging.
- Animats 3y agoThe interfaces are probably well defined. The seeker head should plug into the rest of the missile via some well defined connector and some well defined mount point. The new unit has to be compatible, but not identical.
