I was sorely tempted to put my son's artwork on Instagram because since he was about 6 months old he had spookily incredible pen control and a sort of uncanny skill in design and composition. I just couldnt shake a sort of icky feeling that I'd be getting a dopamine kick from people liking his drawings, and the converse, that I'd be feeling hard done by if one drawing didn't get enough attention. I really wrestled with it for ages because I was (and am) really proud and wanted to show off! (He's now less interested in drawing than in Lego so the moment has kind of passed.)
