- _shantaram 3y agoCould you justify any of those statements? I'm especially interested in why you think nginx is "utter trash", for example. Also, isn't there an HN rule about discussion having to be constructive instead of just whaling on things?
- xcdzvyn 3y agoGiven this is their only comment I'll dare say they're very deliberately being inflammatory.
- paddim8 3y agoI doubt there is a rule for that since it's fairly common behavior on here. Quite a strange culture...
- ranguna 3y agoThere are no rules on hacker news. There are, however, guidelines: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html Quite a few of those imply that the OP's comment was a bit out of line.
- majkinetor 3y agoWhat a nonsence. World o warcraft is trash? Entire interface is in lua, i am amazed it works that good.
- mbStavola 3y agoCurious if anyone has deployed something prod which uses Redbean.
- throwawaymobule 3y agoI think the redbean site is hosted from a redbean server. It's firmly in the realm of 'too good to use for anything serious' though.
- orlandrescu 3y agoSadly, it cannot run on Haiku OS. That would have increased the number of OSes it runs on to seven. I actually tried to compile it there, but it says something like “binary not supported on BePC” for one of the build support binaries.
