- joshstrange 3y agoFor those of us that still inexplicably use 2000 as a pin in time which we compare dates to: The 80s were not 20 years ago, they were 40 years ago (34-43). 13 years ago was 2010. I read that and went "Ok, so it wasn't known about for the first ~7 years, not great, not terrible" but no, it was ~30 years.
