My goal with this email is to share how we got to this decision, to take accountability for the decisions we've made, and to outline what's ahead."

"I want to take full accountability for where we are and give you some background on how we got here. While we felt we were planning conservatively for 2023 to enable a path to profitability in 2024, it's clear that we underestimated just how much the current economic environment would affect buying behaviors across our small and medium business (SMB) and consumer channels. The truth is, we let optimism get the best of us, and as our CEO,I didn't make all the hard calls last December that I needed to make. In light of the difficult capital markets, we remain committed to being cash-flow positive in 2024 so that we aren't reliant on outside funding to serve our members. Because we missed on our first half of the year bookings plan, we now need to make significant changes to ensure we still become profitable, even in a downside scenario."
