Until adults who own guns are held legally responsible when they negligently store them (by existing laws), juvenile thefts will continue. With no consequences, gun laws are useless. We don't need more gun laws; we need to enforce the ones we already have. The juveniles in this story should also face consequences for stealing and possessing and likely selling firearms (beyond being expelled from school). Again, without consequences, the law is toothless and ineffective and things won't change.
