The thing with Niantic games though is that you actually have to go places! To be fair, they managed to pivot a bit during COVID and allow game play at home which kept some players engaged. I still miss the earlier days when we would have 20+ players across the island collaborating to complete self-designed Ops. Happens more less often now.
