- passion__desire 3y agoInstagram's RS has some top down policies as well. E.g. 1] if you go in explore and select a particular image or reel, RS shows only posts related to that starting point. It is not a single generic feed. It is highly contextual. 2] It changes the items as you like post in realtime. So if you started liking "natural beauty" posts, it will show more of those. It seems Insta has these different scanerios played out and it tries to fit your actions to those scenarios and change the feed accordingly.
