Exactly! The problem here is the predatory nature of student loans. A bit of forgiveness to them is a band aid that will do nothing to prevent the problem from just happening again. Personally, I think the cost of college should be capped, and in addition all forms of student loans should be outright banned, which should force the education industry to cut itself back to a reasonable amount of spending.
