curious why it's personally valuable for you
- qup 3y agoSomething man-made that is 800 years old or whatever is personally valuable to me. Nearly any object you could show me. $2,500 is a lot of money for a useless item, but also not a lot of money. Many people own vehicles worth 20 of those items. I'd prefer 20 items.
- quickthrower2 3y agoIt is also like a physical NFT. You might retain value. The real cost is that vs. what you would have invested in.

- smolder 3y agoOwning it would be a unique way of signalling ones status but also ones uniqueness, and uniqueness is great for ones status.
- petesergeant 3y agoI think I would look at it, and think about it, and touch it pretty often, and that's before guests to my house would do the same and re-ignite my interest in it. Same reason I own a few pieces of art, I think? No particular interest in guns, but this thing is weird and cool
