"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." I... kind of hate this. I can understand it, but I hate it nonetheless. I don't think it can ever be a universal truth, though. Of course, it does require discipline to know the difference between "the needs of the many" and "the needs of the corporate entity you're working for".
