Wow! Phenomenal piloting skills. In the 2nd video on the page taken by a passenger during landing, you can hear the plane balanced on the rear wheels for 12 seconds before touching down the nose. Impressive!
- nilsbunger 3y agoThis is a pretty standard maneuver - it's similar to a "soft field landing" (eg grass runway). Assuming you have a long runway, you avoid braking since that would slam the nose down, and use more and more elevator to keep the nose up to as slow a speed as possible.
