  There is also a Firefox Addon called "Behave!" [1] that detects these port scans, attempts to reach private IP's and DNS rebinding attacks.       [Edit 2] uBlock does appear to block some of this the javascript part by default, just lacks obvious notification something is wrong. I will continue to use Behave as it becomes more obvious I am on a shady site.
