What obvious thing are we missing? And can AI help?
- PaulHoule 3y agoI’d be concerned about social limits to change. There is only so much people can take. I am a bit shook up at the moment because I just saw a video of a Russian soldier who was in a unit of 150 men, after three months there are fewer than 15 left, there is no graphic violence at all but the description of what they’ve been through is harrowing and they’re just done with the war and want their families to know if they get killed now it wasn’t in combat, it was by their own. Look at the resistance to taking any measures against COVID-19 that emerged in about a year and the counter-culture of people who don’t get that wearing two masks isn’t going to make up for the people who aren’t. The right is against take measures against climate change and the left is cosplaying as being concerned, if only as an act of negativism, but once some Bipoc person realizes it’s going to cost them 50 cents they don’t have and when XYZHPNQ^ people realize that billionaires aren’t going to pay 100% of the cost they will put on yellow shirts and jump the barricade. See Future Shock.
