The best thing I do is scan the file digitally and use PDF blackout. And then “print to image” to a PDF printer. Other PDF editors have a pdf redaction feature

The best thing I do is scan the file digitally and use PDF blackout. And then “print to image” to a PDF printer.
Other PDF editors have a pdf redaction feature that replaces the image pixels with white space. That works too.
