The same way this is a prototype heavily optimized for this record, if the point was to reproduce it with an EV we'd probably heavily optimize for regenerative energy, possibly lower speeds and solar panels. I was wondering how Guinness Record would deal with such a category, and the answer seems to be that they just don't.
