Ask HN: How to find out what people search for in 2023?
Years ago you could use google’s keyword tool and 3rd party keyword research tools to figure out what people search for. What methods and tools are state of the art in 2023?

- anenefan 3y agoThere are various lists around no doubt. I imagine there would be differences between search engines, but a fairly good representation might be had from google trends [1] ... I've set the location to US. [1] https://trends.google.com/trends/trendingsearches/daily?geo=US&hl=en-US https://trends.google.com/trends/trendingsearches/daily?geo=...

- anenefan 3y agoI stopped using google a while ago for various reasons. Actually looking over today's results again, I think those results are for links visited from the search and not topics as a group - noting Madonna has come up twice. Sorry about that, it's not what you were looking for.
