People got used to an activist Supreme Court with the likes of RBG and Breyer. Now the activists are in the minority (Sotomayor, KBJ, and Kagan). Most of these cases of the media becoming upset about Supreme Court rulings come from surprise that the majority ruled on what the Constitution and applicable case law actually say, versus what they wish it said.
