The mail is slow and faltering, as well as expensive, yet emails aren't always a good answer to the need for communication... I find my guts seizing up, just a little - but that's all it takes to mess up the flow of thought that pours onto the page. I like to sit in the dappled sunlight and think of my friend, as I write. I take photos of my completed handwritten letters. I send the photos as email attachments, and keep copies too. I can do much the same with forms, but I find I have to point out the existence of the attachments in the main body of the text.
