What about just post-deploy hooks with your preferred version control software? Identify your CSS/JS, add a current time+date?
- chrisacky 15y agoThe problem with that is that it would have the potential of preventing these CSS/JS from ever being cached, since proxy servers will commonly/often/always refuse to cache pages with a query string? I think I am just going to bite the bullet and go through everything I have ever written and wrap it in some "CDN"izer, method to easily include version number.
