A Reddit ad for a fitness app gets 19k upvotes
- kirso 3y agoI bumped into this randomly but found it fascinating. People try to hack growth and use hooks to attract an audience, but all it takes is to actually build something useful and authentic. Its quite an underrated approach.
- isaacfrond 3y agoI wonder what the Ad looks like. Anybody got a link?
- kirso 3y agoThe url should work, its basically a post ad: https://old.reddit.com/user/caliber-justin/comments/uxpv93/hi_im_one_of_the_founders_of_caliber_a_100_free/ https://old.reddit.com/user/caliber-justin/comments/uxpv93/h...
- mikece 3y agoI don't get it. Is this Redditese for a form of protest?
- kermatt 3y agoPerhaps ad-spam upvoted by bots to increase visibility. Fake engagement, which a conspiracy theorist could attribute to new revenue opportunities for Reddit.
