I've been WFH for three years now, since the lockdowns began in 2020.
I am also a tenant in a one-bedroom apartment.
Awhile ago I had some maintenance issues, and I began to think that I was utterly bonkers to believe that I could WFH as a mere tenant renting space.
My landlord has every right to enter the premises whenever they want, as long as they give notice, or if I file a maintenance request, they're gonna show up, and then they're gonna interrupt me at work, and start making a lot of noise somewhere.
I've had my bathroom disrupted; all water/AC is shut off during the day sometimes; I've had pest control issues where I had to shut down my kitchen, remove everything from it, and vacate the premises for an entire day, not knowing when it's all clear to re-enter.
The library has pretty good facilities as a "Site B" when I need to get out of here, but I really don't like leaving the apartment.
In the past two years it's been quiet and I've been largely undisturbed at work. But I still think it's mostly bonkers for any renting tenant to try to WFH, considering that our rights are subordinate to those of the property owners.
