Better payback in terms of efficiency and resource use to just properly insulate buildings, seal up ducts, etc.
- screye 3y agoBetter ventilation and effective greenery also help a lot. Green areas are easily a few degrees cooler than asphalt jungles. Use smaller roads, replace lawns with large trees and allow windows to stay open. Floors near the ground level benefit from the plants. And it is a lot colder at higher floors anyway.
