I think the differences in figure 4 are just due to how they're normalizing to the control. I also find the THI to be an absurd metric since a large component of it is measuring your psychological well-being. Why don't any of these studies do pitch and volume matching? The apparent loudness is what i actually want to reduce. Maybe I'll start a youtube channel where I carefully review/roast tinnitus papers, it really seems to be a field with no standards.
