I would feel great if someone who deliberately puts other people in danger by not paying attention while driving got punished. Making streets endlessly more impassable results in driving "the good way," whatever that is? No. I am happy to drive within the speed limit in most cases (the exceptions being glaring rip-offs with no possible safety excuse, such as 40 MPH on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago). All I ask is that we the taxpayers are afforded properly-timed lights and anything else we can do to make traffic as efficient as we can.
