The minecraft story arc is quite a cathartic one for me as a kid in middle school / high school seeing it grow and having quite a connection with the game through friends. The story of its creators is quite sad, C418's music was always eerily hopeful, sad, and always laden with an almost indescribable undertone of wanderlust. These descriptions of his tracks are a delight to read, but in some of them you can feel their emotions very much at play. C418's other works are incredible, he added a level of depth and emotion to chiptune that hadn't been explored before their work.
