Middleware applied to cross-cutting concerns is the quickest way to make your codebase debug-proof. - Why is this returning a different result than expected? Oh, there was a cache I didn't know about. - This code is obviously posting data to an end point, why won't my curl do the same thing? Oh, the middleware was altering the request after I inspected it.
