Everyone (all people, corporations, government, ngos, etc) are driving it. The question is not and has never been what is driving/causing inflation. The question, previously and now, is who will suffer to reduce it? The answer is working people. Because they are the ones least able to protect themselves. We could stop it by inflicting pain on non-working people or billionaires or corporations or a few other groups. But working people have the least political clout, the least sympathy, the least political clout and the least ability to just opt out (go abroad etc).
