Almost all bars and clubs are too loud by a large degree. I started keeping track of decibel levels when I developed tinnitus, and at minimum a pub with a live band is going to be 20-30db too loud. For this reason I always have a pair of ear plugs of some kind. Loop Experience, or even just regular foam (depending on the noise level and how well dressed I’m expected to be).
