For those not yet in the know or those in need of a reminder, the US has been considering incorporating a federal tax credit for e-bike purchases. This proposal garnered considerable support from a prominent caucus, including President Biden himself. Last year's Inflation Reduction Act was initially set to encompass this provision (https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-bill/2420 https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-bill/242...). Despite this, there have been efforts continue to reintroduce this credit, recognizing the ongoing relevance and significance of such initiatives.
