Google isn’t the first in the foldable market, as detailed in the article. There also already are rumors that Apple is also experimenting with foldable devices. To think they wouldn’t at least explore this is folly, especially within their iPad line. Over a decade later, who really cares what a 90s/00s era Steve Jobs might be doing today? Personally, I currently use Apple products almost exclusively and I wasn’t attracted to any of their devices until a post Jobs Apple. What Apple does best is take and existing idea or product, refine it, and make it better (for some, but certainly not all). If they can tackle the foldable market, I’m sure their devices will sell.
