Keep reading the same paragraph:

Shouldn't fun new ideas risking the stability of an app or making migration harder, be off by default and turned on only by people wanting to experiment? "
- bryanlarsen 15y agoThe features should be turned on for new applications and turned off for upgrades. In fact, that's what the rake rails:upgrade does in some cases. It probably doesn't do that often enough.
