- hgomersall 3y agoThat's simply untrue: https://www.ndsc.ncep.noaa.gov/uvspect_web/Polar/ https://www.ndsc.ncep.noaa.gov/uvspect_web/Polar/ Moreover, people of Nordic ancestry tend to have paler skin, which is arguably an adaptation to the low levels of UV.
