The first sentence sounds sarcastic, but I did not mean it that way. I meant, "Yes, (since the article only mentions availability of a new carbon fiber chassis and nothing else about related accidents), there's no reason to suspect the carbon fiber monocoque is substandard." Maybe the comment itself is inaccurate? I'm not sure.
