Meta Wants to Make AI “Moatless“
- rvz 3y agoOnce again, almost everyone has underestimated Meta's Fundamental AI Research lab (FAIR) and now they are on full throttle on open-sourcing their AI projects (non-commercial) before O̶p̶e̶n̶AI.com could move on from ChatGPT. Meta is the one that has the moat and is already at the finish line in the race to zero, beyond LLMs. This is why O̶p̶e̶n̶AI.com is panicking to governments for regulatory capture to wipe out open-source AI projects to the point where it will be licensed as they know that they cannot win the race to zero without releasing a somewhat licensed open-source LLM or AI project themselves.
