- exegete 3y agoThe article really has 0 to do with insomnia. The title is definitely misleading. It’s about the author putting words to things he couldn’t before (like smells).
- BenFranklin100 3y agoI disagree. For many, fighting insomnia is the art of quieting an overactive cognitive mind at 3AM in the morning. My suboptimal ‘solution’ has been to read news on my iPad. This article provides an example of an alternative, perhaps superior, solution. I can think of solutions in the same class, ranging from sampling cocktails bitters, whiskies (in small amounts of course), and refining other non-cognitive sensations.
- mock-possum 3y agoThat huffpo article is really rubbing me the wrong, getting major “solve your problems with this one weird trick!” Type vibes.
