Your last sentence is odd because obviously the glue isn’t something like thermal paste. It won’t affect performance. The glue is there for structural reasons.

Your last sentence is odd because obviously the glue isn’t something like thermal paste. It won’t affect performance.
The glue is there for structural reasons. Adhesion allows better rigidity by making use of the structure around it.
