What a strange perversion of Arendt to seem to make her endorse status quo opinion and authoritarian propaganda. Arendt always seemed too muddled and verbose for my taste, but I could have sworn that her idea of commonality was soft of like Rashomon, needing to understand participant's perspectives. That kind of bottom-up reality is exactly the opposite of a top-down one that this author seems to favor.
