- kojeovo 3y agoWonder if we'll see many IPOs from any companies not turning a profit anytime soon
- wmf 3y agoOpenAI PPUs are no different than stock in a growing-but-unprofitable company like old Amazon. You don't have to wait for dividends; you can sell your PPUs to speculators who expect returns in the future.

- scarface_74 3y agoIt’s completely different. I can sell my RSUs in AMZN as soon as they vest on the public market at market price.
- wmf 3y agoFor pre-IPO companies you have things like SecondMarket.
- scarface_74 3y agoOnly if your company allows you to sell your shares and only if you work for a company where there is and interest and even then you’re going to be required to sell at a discount. I know exactly how much my shares are worth on my spreadsheet - =GOOGLEFINANCE("AMZN", "price") * number of shares
