Sure... I mean everyone will die at some point. But if this is only Wagner without any political support from powerfull people in Moscow, i.e. no one backstabbing Putin while this is happening, this will be a very short affair and Wagner leadership will be dead or in jail within a few days

I’m pretty sure intelligence in chess does not transfer to other domains. This is someone who wasted years of their life to become a really great board game player. An accomplishment in the world of boardgames for sure, but with no actual consequence. As for as the Wagner group, like Ukraine they are going to be crushed. I simply don’t believe anything I’m hearing in the media anymore. It’s propaganda and the reality is Ukraine will lose. They don’t even have a chance and never did. They shouldn’t have given up their nuclear arsenal - in fact they were explicitly warned not to in writing because Russia would invade, but ignored that and pandered to pacifists. Then they failed to join NATO. This whole affair was an inevitable consequence of their strategic mistakes. Although, it was helpful of them to test all of NATO’s weapons against Russia.     The actual consequence of learning programming is money. A material reward that improves quality of life. I’ll also wager that intelligence does transfer to other domains but that’s just MHO.

        Source? I see estimates from 6m to 150. I don’t think anyone really knows, but I expect it’s more like 6, which is somewhere around a good developers nest egg.

You would have thought Biden lost respect as our President with all the gaffes, poor decisions, scandals, and obvious cognitive deficiency, yet primary debates are being stifled, Hunter is getting off with a slap on the wrist, Biden hasn't released the COVID origins documents, and yet there he is. This is America. Imagine if you're in third-world Russia and you have Putin with his finger on the nukes. I wouldn't count him out given the Russian populace's conditioning to give in and not resist the oppression happenong in their own local government and police.
