I think the biggest reason we don’t get feedback on take-home work is that the company people have decided to not move forward with you, and any additional time spent on you is time not spent hiring the person they want. You’re turning in homework for a course the instructor has just kicked you out of, asking if they’ll grade it anyway. Adjacent to that, they probably don’t want to open themselves up to an argument about your work, while you try to convince them to give you another chance. That doesn’t make it any less frustrating though.
