Get the Linux ISO at a public library or any place that has public Internet access if you don't have a computer? This is straight up a education problem mixed with a not adjusting pricing for other markets issue. You didn't have to pay for anti virus or Windows 10 or office. You got salesman'd. He knew that Windows 10 had a built-in antivirus and he up saled you. Can we like, help these low capita per GDP places a bit? Why can't they get a legit new HP laptop with windows 11 and free office 365 for a year for their equivalent of what would be around $300 for us in the USA? If our per Capita GDP is $70k and Zimbabwe is $1.8k then why do they pay only $10 less? They should be paying like $15 for 365. For that laptop? $150. Take the loss or whatever. Get legit licenses and less malware into the world. Hook them with it free for a year for the family cloud and OneDrive. If I remember correctly you could share that for free with 10 people... Where's the Best buy? Why aren't we building Best buys over there? Or are we? Employ people there and sell to them computers that are adjusted for how much that they make over there??? This seems really simple! Do anything to just stop this madness. I'm sure this could be taken advantage of but the less of this going on will lift everyone up.
