I play the game CyberPunk 2077 and wonder how many things I see in it will become a reality in the future. There are "farms" you can go to (technologically advanced and under corporate control) where you can see a farmer's commune surrounded by gravesites. Some farmers are seen mourning at the graves while others are living in squalor and desperation. Being totally disconnected from farming in the real world, the reality this article paints was very sobering. It reminded me of other harrowing stories about our present-day food supply.
